Privacy

Privacy, in plain language

Fenestra is a local tool. This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking.

No cookies, no tracking

There are no cookies, pixels, fingerprinting, analytics or advertising scripts. Nothing is shared with third parties. The only external service involved is GitHub Pages, which serves this site.

What stays in your browser

Your browser may store two preferences in localStorage: the language you choose in the menu, and the fact that you dismissed the privacy notice. The language detected from your browser is not saved. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process connection data such as your IP address for security and operation, under GitHub's privacy statement.

The application

Fenestra runs on your computer. It does not send telemetry, usage data or the names of your projects. If version checks are added, they will be described here before being enabled.

Your choices

You can clear the stored preferences at any time, block storage in your browser, or reach us through GitHub Issues. If you are in the EU, you also have rights under the GDPR.
